Looking Your Best On Your Wedding Day

Posted on Dec 20, 2008 under Beauty Care, General Info, Musing, Useful Tips | No Comment

Who doesn’t want to look their best on their wedding day?  After all, you only have 1 wedding in your lifetime (that is what we all hope).  I’m no different from any other woman in the world and even though I’m having my wedding after having a child, it is still one of the most important days in my life.  Besides the photography and the wedding ceremony and the reception that must turn out perfect, the bride (yours truly) must also look vibrant and confident.

What could be better than to check out a Los Angeles non surgical face lifts, right?  I know, I know, the man is gonna say I love you just the way you are, but you have to take charge this moment because this is YOUR day after all.  No one looks at the groom, everyone’s eyes are on the bride. So as a bride-to-be you can imagine the stress I am facing and to be able to deliver, why not choose an affordable and absolutely painless (in my humble opinion) procedure to boost that already worn and stressed out brides confidence. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles and makes you look absolutely radiant for your big day and all those wonderful photos you will want to hand down for the rest of your life.  Take charge of your life, take charge of that special day.

More Wedding Dresses

Kit & Kaboodle Bridal Place was where I found this for another choice for wedding clothes. Priced at $500 a piece.. i think it is really a steal.  But the difference between here and home.. is you have to buy it.. and you are not able to rent it.  So what do one do after wearing something like this once for your wedding..??

The also do wedding decorations and its accessories .. but no catering .. the owner said… “thank you very much”  I guess it is tough to do the dresses .. the decor.. and plus the catering eh.  Donch blame them at all.

Very pretty indeed for a young bride.

More decor for your dream wedding.

Finding Your Soul Mate

Posted on Oct 29, 2008 under Bridal Gang, General Info, Musing, The Man, Wedding Favors, Wedding Invites | No Comment

As I prepare for my wedding I am often asked about how I met my spouse.  Truth be told, when people hear that I met him on the internet they are in awe that we met online and chatted for a good 6 yrs before I came to Canada and now are getting married after having a child with him.  We have been together technically for about 14 yrs now.

So how do you find your soul mate? While some may be skeptical about chat lines and making friends with a complete stranger, isn’t it the same even if you met him personally or were introduced to each other by a mutual friend?  My advice about0 these adult chat rooms is to use common sense and also keep an open mind.  Even if you don’t make it as soul mates you can still be good friends. Free chats are always fun, you never know who you might meet and I really truly feel that getting to know the person over the internet or phone first before embarking into anything serious isn’t a bad thing at all.

Do I Send “Thank You” Cards To Everyone..??

Posted on Sep 12, 2008 under General Info, Musing, Thank You | No Comment

We definitely have to send “Thank you” cards to our helpers.. but what about those that attended our wedding..?  Afterall, they took time off .. to attend your special day.. and even bought you and the bridegroom a present right..? So how many ppl do send out “Thank you” cards to everyone ..??  Better check with the experts eh..?  those who got married already .. and recently.  If i was the guest to a wedding.. i would definitely appreciate it.

Bridal Registry

Posted on Sep 05, 2008 under Bridal Registry, General Info | No Comment

I really think that having a bridal registry is the best. That way .. you will never get 10 bedsheets.. or 5 frying pans .. and pots and a shitload of stuff.. you never care to use or buy. Never was really familiar with an online buying stuff some 15 yrs ago but got into it really quick when a girlfriend of mine got married in Rhode Island, Providence. Having a wedding registry serves 2 purpose and it makes everyone happy.  You get what you want.. and your guests, friends, relatives and family get to spend within their limit without feeling embarrassed.

I liked Macy’s bridal but i’m gonna look for a few before deciding.. so if you see a bridal registry here.. don’t be too surprised.  But if you are a friend or family .. of course head over.. and send me a gift.. mauahhaha!!!  Hmmm.. should i have a separate registry for the man..??

Skin Care Planning For Brides

Posted on Aug 03, 2008 under Beauty Care, General Info | No Comment

it is very important that you start your skin care regimen 6 months before the wedding day.   I need to contact my beautician .. and get her to start me on something for a radiant and flawless skin on my wedding day.

Just some tips.. i found online and think they are sensible to follow:

Making sure that you buy stuff that is for your skin type and not against it.  Do away with harsh cleanser or scrubs if you have sensitive skin.

Now is the time to go for regular facials.. and not sting on it.  A good facial every month can only help you to look beautiful on your big day.

Don’t forget to wear sunscreen everyday .. even if it is winter.  One with a built in SPF 15 or the higher the better moisturizer in your everyday routine is a definite plus.

Of course… you have to start exercising .. and eat right .. and also get proper rest and sleep.  For me.. i’m starting with walks first.. and as soon as i am recovered from my surgery.. i am going for walks everyday.

Don’t forget to take care of my hands as well.. and make sure that i go for manicures 2 months before my wedding.. and show off my hands when the wedding rings are exchanged.  Gotta remember to apply moisturizer on my hands daily and nightly.

Go to the dentist really soon to check out my teeth.. and maybe try and whiten it.. if not gotta clean it up for the big day.

Don’t forget to start waxing 2 months ahead of time.. and keep up with your eyebrow shaping and upper lips waxing too.
