Jewelry or accessories .. as one might call it .. is a must for any wedding. Be it for the bride or for the bridal gang. Kit and Kabudle in our town has it all.. and a good selection. I love the prices too.. and if you are doing your prom this year, you may want to check them out yourself. I think I am gonna get something simple for everyone in my wedding .. the bridal gang.
More wedding decor found at our local bridal store .. just opposite our business. Kit and Kaboodle Bridal .. they do all sorts of bridal decor .. and wedding dresses. You would do well .. talking to the owners.. for they are really friendly .. and insightful.
I used to think that i would get the Lazare diamond for my wedding, like the die-die must get kinda attitude. But that was because i was so young .. and only want everything to be the most expensive.. and most hype. Well.. not until i saw this ring .. from Cartier and it is not even expensive to begin with. But alas, I wore this even before my wedding.. but for those looking for a ring.. you might find this rather charming.
If my brides maid were paying for some of my stuff for the wedding, i really wouldn’t mind spending more on their thank you gifts. So this is what a Maid of Honor should do.. i heard.
1) Go wedding gown shopping with me.. and really tell me the truth about my dress.
2) Help me to select my bridemaids and also their dresses .. plus pay for my dress and accessories. woohoo..!! Now .. i’ve never of this!! is it true..?? is it true..?? some one tell me leh..!! please..?? I’ll get a MOH immediately if so .. muahahhaha!!
3) Make all the arrangements with the other bridesmaid .. and include them in all the preparation for the wedding.
4) Help me .. with the invitations.. and if possible.. also help me send them out.. with the pastries that i choose with the invitations.
5) Help me to write up the invitations.. and make constructive suggestions about who i should invite.. and who not to.
6) Help me to wrap guest favors.
7) Host the bridal shower.
8) Address and send out bridal shower invitations.
9) Help with the rehearsal dinner and making sure you attend it.
10) Help me get the wedding dress on the wedding day.
11) Make sure i look pretty at all times.. during the ceremony.
12) Hold on to my bouquet whenever i don’t need it.. and be by my side all the time to help me.
13) To overlook the wedding from beginning to the end.
I asked the man if he would like a silver wedding band instead of a gold one.. for our wedding. He said.. it didn’t matter to him. You think all men are this way..??
Anyways.. i kinda like something different.. and wanna try something different too. But silver wedding band may be cheaper.. than gold.. it is the design of the ring that may cost us alot more. So the budget is essential too. I know for sure.. that silver is as good as gold..and they last forever.. if you donch bang them around. But of course, i want an appropriate size and thickness of the ring for the man.. because the one he is currently wearing is kinda a ridiculous width size.. too thin.. and meant for a woman. Of course, he doesn’t think so. And nope.. i’ll never buy them. .unless i get to see them.. and put them on.. and like them. Same for the man.. i’ll have to bring him to the jewelry store for that.. and it has to be the times. .when he is in a good mood too. Afterall, you can’t choose a wedding band.. gold or not gold.. in a bad mood day.. eh..??

I chose a very traditional one .. that I can get from Poh Heng Jewelry. I haven’t found out about the price yet.. but I’ll update as soon as I do. I wonder if it is ok.. to have a wedding band.. that is not the same as your spouse.
